Detailed Personality
Kale was surprisingly dedicated for a Slytherin, studying more than most of his classmates, he was also an excellent chaser which led to his popularity within his house. In his adult life he would have loved to be a professional quidditch player and indeed many people thought he would follow that path - he had offers - but he knew that if he chose that life he would be in the spotlight far too much. Because of his sexuality Kale likes to keep his private life as private as he can. This even extends to those that are closest to him, he is an extremely cautious person and finds it hard to trust anybody. He hooks up with muggles for one night stands using a false name because he is so afraid of being outed.
Rather cynical Kale considers himself a realist. He is always the one to remind those around him that there is a down side to every good deed and few people do anything for free. Others might see him as being pessimistic but if he can stop his friends from being hurt like he has been in the past then he will. He does however have a romantic heart, but his past means he has buried it deeply.
Kale hides his wounds under a mask hostility or indifference. His hostility isn't all that heated, he is passive aggressive unless you push him to the brink of snapping. In the past if pushed he would react violently, anger was always just bubbling under the surface however since leaving school and starting his own life he has managed to control that. He now exudes an air of charm when meeting most people.
If given the chance Kale is a loyal and loving man who has learnt that the prejudices held as truth by his parents are wrong. He dislikes listening to intolerance and prefers the company of more open minded people. When his sister was practically disowned but their parents he didn’t think twice before offering to help her.

Detailed History:
Born to Alcott and Tuesday Parkinson, Kale was spoilt rotten until he was three years old when his younger sister Pansy was born. Instead of jealousy or rivalry the two developed a close bond and this continued three years after that when their younger brother Aspen was born. Although they were not bearers of the dark mark the Parkinsons were followers of Voldemort, believing in the ideals he held. As such the families they associated with were pureblood and held the same beliefs. As a result the children all grew up with a certain amount of arrogance and intolerance. When Kale was sent to school he was easily placed into Slytherin and settled in well, although he missed his siblings more than he let on.
His first three years at school were good, he made friends, did fairly well in his studies and in his second year became a chaser in Slytherin’s quidditch team. He was a fourth year when his sister came to the school and he was pleased to see she made friends quickly, especially with the Malfoy boy since he knew how important the Malfoys were viewed by their parents. It was in his fifth year that things began to change for Kale, he was fifteen and he was beginning to think about relationships and sex. He’d been asked to the Yule ball the previous year by a girl he knew fairly well but things hadn’t gone far since she actually liked a friend of his. Which was fine by him he was focusing on quidditch anyway. But it was when his close friends started teasing him that he began to realise he didn’t have the feelings for girls that they did. He ignored it for as long as he could but halfway through the year he was partnered with a ravenclaw boy in transfiguration - the class he was struggling with the most.
While he acted annoyed he actually found he enjoyed his company and they studied together in the library. One evening the boy kissed him and Kale found himself responding. He then ignored the boy for several weeks making excuses not to study but when his marks began to slip he was once more forced to work with him again. After admitting he hadn’t run away because he didn’t like it but because he did they began a secret relationship which lasted almost to the end of school.
It was the year of the TriWizard Tournament, Kale’s last year of school where he was old enough to put his name into the cup which he did, that things went wrong. A friend of the ravenclaw boy caught them kissing in the astronomy tower and threatened to tell everybody. Kale, in a frightened panic, beat the boy severely only stopping when his boyfriend begged him to. Although he apologised their relationship was over since the boy found he couldn’t trust Kale after seeing what he had done. His secret safe but his relationship in tatters Kale refocused on his studies and quidditch. He had offers to try out for a number of professional teams but declined them all. He couldn’t beat up everybody who found out the truth and he couldn’t come out to everyone and being in the spotlight would mean having to do one or the other.
At the end of the TriWizard Tournament Dumbledore announced Cedric’s death and Voldemort’s return, something which was confirmed by his parents when he went home. Having being changed by his relationship, the ravenclaw boy being muggle born for one thing, Kale refused when his parents suggested he join the death eaters. Instead he took an internship at the Daily Prophet and kept his head down.
He worked hard, writing articles on anything that was asked of him and he got himself a flat in London and lived his life. When his sister graduated she moved in with him, since he understood why she didn’t want to go home.
When Pansy got pregnant Kale stood by her 100% and they found a new place to live to give them and the baby space. Pansy was able to continue working while looking for something more suitable since Kale now focused entirely on sports so could work from home or take baby Briar with him to matches.
